Well at one pooint while I was installing ENBs I started to get eh missing HUD extession error, I noticed that none of the Project Nevada mechanics were working ingame so I figured the problem must be exsclusively with that mod. Now the reason I still will defend my post as to why a Manual install will work is because back when I was modding my game I periodically made back ups of the main FNV folder just incase I installed a game breaking mod and had to do a clean install. Also on the Project Nevada mod page there are instruction for how to do a manual install. I used the term manual install because I figured those who were familiar with the FNV Nexus modding community would understand that term since it's commonly used there. But the Unified HUD is pretty awesome so you should install after doing this actual fix (or after any mod that adds to the HUD)! Q: This guy keeps telling me to install Unified HUD, I already did that and worked for a second, then it didn't work?Ī: That guy again, I swear. Q the error message said I needed to install come program that +'s in it, do I really need to do that? Q: Where is my Fallout New Vegas Data folder?Ĭ:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas

One of my Project Nevada zip files had the Data folder listed as "data" instead of "Data" as file is noramlly labeled, you may want to open the Fallout New vegas Data folder and copy the contents of Project Nevada' data folder into itĪ: It's where you unzip the file (I reccomend using 7ZIP) into your Fallout New Vegas Data folder In the New Vegas Launcher, click on Data Files and select the plugins you want. * Remember, if you're using the default interface you can just skip this step.Ĥ. In there, copy the contents of following directory your Data/ folder, depending on which interface mod you are using: In case you are using any mod that modifies the interface:ģ. Extract the contents of the downloaded archive file to your Data/ folder. Typically it's found at Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/common/fallout new vegas/Data/.Ģ. Locate the Data/ folder in your Fallout New Vegas installation directory. Do a manual install of Project Nevada patches and extrasĮdit: Thanks to the reccomendation of Ladez I have included the Manual install instructions from the Project Nevada Nexus Mods page ( )ġ.
